Shayne Acrea, Landscape and Pond Specialist Shayne can tell you everything you need to know about water gardening. With years of experience building and maintaining ponds and water gardens, he has all the answers. Shayne is also certified in low-voltage landscape lighting, and is the brains and sweat behind Culver's 65,000 gallon pond and water fall. |

Tyler
Allen, Landscape Designer Tyler is in his second year as a Culver's landscape designer. He works primarily on landscape designs and installation management for Skogman Homes. Tyler also works regularly with residential landscape clients. |

Dan Foss, Landscape
Designer Dan may be the newest landscape designer at Culver's, but his experience is extensive. He graduated in 1991 from Iowa State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture and spent 13 years in the Chicago/Milwaukee market before coming home to Iowa. |

Lisa Gutzeit, Landscape
Maintenance Lisa keeps landscapes beautiful after they've been installed. With degrees in Art and Design, she has a great eye for interiorscapes and landscapes, and she'd be happy to show you her portfolio! |

Nick Jensen, Project Manager Nick is the project manager for the landscaping department. He coordinates landscaping crews with the jobs being installed and works closely with the designers to ensure perfection in each job. |

Charity Mitchell,
Landscaper Charity has a lifetime of gardening experience and has specialized in annual, perennial, vegetable and herb gardening in Iowa and the California Bay Area. Her expertise at Culver's is in creating custom blends of perennials, annuals and shrubs for each client's landscape. |

Ryan Novak, Residential
Landscape Designer Landscape designer, lawn care specialist and wood-working expert - this guy can do it all! Ryan's main focus at Culver's is creating amazing residential landscape designs tailored to fit any landscape. He has a great eye for design and a knack for finding unique solutions for difficult properties. Ryan is also an expert crafter of outdoor wood structures such as decks, arbors and pergolas. |

Mike Platner, Commercial
Landscape Sales Mike has been in the landscaping business since his very first job at the age of 16. He went on to get a degree in Horticulture from Kirkwood and most recently joined the Culver's team in November 2006. Mike handles bids for commercial landscaping jobs. |

Blake Bieber, Deliveries A Jack of all trades, Blake fills many important roles at Culver's, including "recycle guy," snow plower and cleaner-upper. But at the height of the gardening season Blake is the one who safely and efficiently delivers mulch, dirt, rock or even plants from Culver's right to your home. |

Brenda Buker, Garden Center Watching the changing of the seasons, inside and out, keeps Brenda enjoying her work in the Garden Center. That, she says, and the great people she works with and the fantastic customers she helps every day. |

Bob Burton, Head Grower Bob has been in the gardening business for more than 30 years. At Culver's he is proud to be a part of a business that produces Iowa-grown, bigger blooming and better performing plants. |

Joann Carnahan, Perennials Joann is one half of Culver's perennial duo. More than anything she loves seeing the plant "babies" push out of the soil in early spring. She also loves spending her days surrounded by green plants when there's still snow on the ground outside. She's happy to help you pick the perfect perennial! |

Ruth Ann Delmege, Garden Center Ruth Ann loves greeting customers with a smile and helping them find just what they're looking for in the garden center. Nothing makes her happier than making a customer's day! |

Travis Dirks, Greenhouse Travis is a high school senior who loves plants, biology, the outdoors and learning, so it's no wonder he fits right in at Culver's. You'll find him working hard and learning in the greenhouses. |

Kyle Ditch, Nursery If he's not helping customers choose the right tree or shrub from Culver's nursery, you'll probably find Kyle canoeing, hiking, snow shoeing or working in his own garden. That's why it's no surprise that Kyle loves helping people make the most of their own outdoor spaces. |

Lisa Eckhardt, Garden Center What are the perks of the job for Lisa? Working outside and picking up great ideas, plants and decor to make her own home bloom with beauty. At Culver's, you'll find her helping Garden Center customers do the same. |

Rachel Elgin, Retail
Greenhouse Manager You might see Rachel driving a Culver's snow plow in the middle of a chilly Iowa winter, but it's spending time in the greenhouses that really makes her smile. Rachel, who has a BS in Horticulture from Iowa State University, is looking forward to her first full season with with Culver's! |

Cindy Fagan, Garden Center Cindy is a school nurse by trade who loves reading, kids and gardening. But, during the spring and summer she gets to enjoy time helping customers in the garden center. Cindy looks forward to seeing you at Culver's this season! |

Denise Glew, Greenhouse If she's not teaching biology, you'll find Denise helping customers in Culver's greenhouses. Denise is a garden lover with a special interest in vegetable and herb gardening, and she's always happy to answer your questions. |

She's built an expertise in gardening throughout her many years of having a passion for the hobby. As one of Culver's garden coaches, she's ready to help you do the same! You'll find Deb visiting customers' homes to offer her advice or helping people choose the right plants from Culver's greenhouses. |

Sue Neises, Perennials Sue and her partner in crime, Joann, keep Culver's perennials looking fabulous and Culver's customers looking happy. Sue just simply really loves flowers and learned her stuff by practicing on her own home and getting ideas from others. If you have a perennial question, she's got the answer. |

Elizabeth Pollard, Garden Coach As one of Culver's Garden Coaches, Elizabeth is looking forward to helping you get a good foundation for your garden with good plants, good soil and new beginnings for old spaces. She looks at gardening with humor, and says you're not a true gardener until you've killed at least three of the same type of plant! She sees garden coaching simply as "friendly, gardening assistance" and is ready to be your coach! |

Krystle Schoon, Greenhouse Krystle got a summer job with Culver's when she was a senior in high school and has happily stuck around ever since! If you ask her why she loves to work at Culver's, she'll tell you it's the awesome people she works with, the fun atmosphere - and the tan! |

Melissa Wroblewski, Grower Melissa has been with Culver's since 2001 when she did an internship in the greenhouse. Now, as a grower, she helps to make sure Culver's plants have the best start so that they perform the best for you. Melissa has an associate's degree in greenhouse management from Kirkwood. |

Dave Sallee, Lawn
Care Manager Dave has been in the lawn care business for 13 years and is a true expert. As Culver's lawn care manager, you'll find Dave in backyards all over the Cedar Rapids area, caring for lawns like yours. Dave has a science degree from Ellsworth College in Iowa Falls with an emphasis in Conservation Technology. Feel free to contact Dave with your lawn care and fertilization questions! |
