Our Nursery Stock Guarantee to You

Growing Season Guarantee

Culver’s Garden Center & Greenhouse guarantees the life of its nursery shrubs, trees and evergreens during the growing season defined as April 1st through October 31st of the same year. The guarantee covers nursery shrubs, trees and evergreens only if they have been planted in the ground.

5-Year Extended Guarantee

Culver’s Garden Center & Greenhouse will extend the Growing Season Guarantee to 5 years from date of purchase on any nursery shrub, tree, or evergreen that is planted in the ground if the plant is purchased and cared for with a 16-ounce bottle of Bonide® Root & Grow.
- The Bonide® Root & Grow must be purchased in the same transaction and appear on both the register sales receipt and the accompanying nursery stock guarantee slip for the 5-Year Extended Guarantee to be valid.
- One bottle of Bonide® Root & Grow must be purchased for each plant guarantee.
- Bonide® Root & Grow must be used according to package instructions to water guaranteed plant(s) throughout the season.

Roses, perennials, grasses, tropicals, and annuals are not covered under the Growing Season Guarantee or the 5-Year Extended Guarantee.

Plant failure due to acts of nature such as inclement weather, flooding, wind, hail, ice, etc.; damage by domesticated or wild animals; or improperly monitored irrigation systems is not covered under the Growing Season Guarantee or the 5-Year Extended Guarantee.

A plant may not be returned until after May 30th of the year it was purchased.

To return a plant for credit under either guarantee, bring the dead item into Culver’s Garden Center & Greenhouse with the original register receipt and guarantee slip. Nursery stock credit IN THE AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE will be issued towards any tree, shrub, evergreen or perennial purchase. Nursery stock credit cannot be applied to any other items.

Trees, shrubs and evergreens purchased with nursery credit are not eligible for either guarantee.

Please make every effort to seek advice on caring for plants that may be under-performing before they fail. Let our staff try to help you prevent the hassle of replacing and replanting your tree or shrub.
