About Us - Donations

Scrip for your school
Giving Back

Culver's Lawn & Landscape and Garden Center & Greenhouse is proud to support organizations and charities in our local community whenever possible. Due to the frequency of donation requests, Culver's has established guidelines for considering donations to eligible organizations. Preference will be given to organizations who meet the following criteria:

  • 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
  • Support of children in need
  • Those who have not previously received support from Culver's

Most often, we choose to show our support through donations of gift cards, plant material or other merchandise. At times, we may choose to support larger charitable projects. Final determination of donations is at the discretion of the president or vice president of the business. Organizations are not eligible for support more than once in a 12-month period. Please note that Culver's chooses to support our local educational system through our school scrip program in place of in-kind or monetary donations.

How to Submit a Donation Request

You can fill out our Online Donation Request Form or if you wish, you may download our Donation Request Form (pdf), print it out and fax it to (319) 377-4820 or mail it to:

Culver's Garden Center & Greenhouse
c/o Donation Request
1682 Dubuque Road
Marion, IA 52302

Please allow up to three weeks for processing. The submitting person or organization will be notified if approved for a donation. Culver's will not mail or deliver donations – we require an organizational representative to pick up the donation.

Culver's Supports Scrip

We look forward to being apart of the area school's scrip program. At Culver's we will donate 10% back to education. This will help enhance the classroom needs and help provide assistance to all the fantastic teachers in our community. We are paying it forward to the generations to come and believe educational support is critical to the community in which we serve!
